Jim Byrnes

Jim Byrnes has been a longtime VAMS supporter. The Vancouver blues legend hails from St. Louis, Missouri, moving to BC in the mid-'70s. He played his first professional gig in 1964 and has since worked with a virtual who’s who of blues history: Furry Lewis, Henry Townsend, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Taj Mahal, Robert Cray and many others. The Juno Award winning musician is also an in-demand TV actor. His latest album is I Hear The Wind In The Wires, on Black Hen Records.
