Meanwhile, VAMS provides facilities to enable people with significant physical disabilities to take their music to another level by improving their composition and playing skills. For those with no musical experience, this is a place to start. We also recognize the role music can play in improving quality of life. We run sessions for patients at Vancouver’s GF Strong rehab hospital, ranging from fun karaoke nights to workshops in a fully equipped music studio. Founded in 1988, VAMS has introduced hundreds of adults and children with disabilities to opportunities that provide an outlet for creativity and self-expression.
